152 mm HE Full Charge Separate-Loading Round
The 152 mm High Explosive (HE) full charge separate-loading round is designed for the neutralization of enemy personnel and equipment in open terrain and field shelters.
The 152 mm HE round with separate loading is characteristic of Soviet and post-Soviet artillery systems. The projectile and propellant charges are loaded separately, allowing flexible adjustment of firing range. When fired with a full charge, it delivers the maximum performance of the system. The explosive effect is comparable to that of 155 mm NATO ammunition. Using a full charge increases barrel wear and dispersion. Its advantage lies in high explosive power and the ability to defeat fortified targets. This type of ammunition is suitable for sustained, high-intensity fire support at extended ranges.
