The High Explosive (HE) rockets are intended for engagement of enemy personnel in open terrain and field shelters, for breaching minefields and communication lines, for counter-battery fire against hostile artillery, and for the destruction of lightly armored materiel. The warhead produces a large number of fragments with an effective radius of several tens of meters. The rocket has a relatively short flight time and no meaningful trajectory correction capability. Accuracy is low, but effectiveness is achieved through massed fires. The M-210F is a typical tool for area denial and suppression. The ammunition is safe for storage and handling and ensures reliable performance of the rocket system under all weather conditions.
